    Keith is a registered professional engineer in civil and mechanical engineering in Louisiana and Mississippi.  He has over 30 years experience in the design and manufacture of mechanical equipment.

Paul Capdepon


            Paul Capdepon, is a graduate in agri-business from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana.  He has 8 years experience in managing his own farming operation and for the past 6 years has devoted his time solely to Tensas Machine as plant manager.

History:


          Began operations as a farm shop in 1978 for repairing Elkridge plantation's own equipment.  Prior experience in machine work and fabrication along with the gradual accumulation of machine tools, began to interest farmers and commercial interests for repairs and modifications to various equipment.  This scenario existed for several years until 1989 when Tensas Machine and Manufacturing was established with full time machinists and welders.  At this time equipment was purchased for the manufacture of a line of U-Bolts for the agricultural industry.  These are still being marketed to equipment dealers and distributors along with many other lines of equipment.
 

Location:
          On Louisiana Highway 608 five miles N.E. of Newellton, Louisiana
 in Tensas Parish.

Plant:

       From the original farm shop building a new facility was constructed to accommodate increased production.  Our 12,400
square feet facility was built 3 years ago.  Having 3 overhead cranes we can accommodate almost any industrial, agricultural and commercial need.
